Important Information
The office occasionally closes during
regularly scheduled hours so that staff can participate
in important community meetings about the Shipyard
cleanup. While you are welcome to stop in anytime
that we are open, if you are researching a specific
issue or if you are looking for a particular document,
we encourage you to call us in advance to set up a
meeting with one of our staff scientists and to be
sure the documents you need will be available.
You are welcome to browse our library
of cleanup documents on-site. We do not loan documents
out, but we are happy to make electronic copies of
any documents that are available on CD (please bring
blank CDs). We do not have a photocopier available
but we can also help you identify the Navy, U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency, or state regulatory personnel who
can help you get paper copies of specific documents
if you need them.

Driving, walking, or bicycling?

Car parking: Metered parking is available on Third Street in front of
the office. If you don't have coins, a meter card can be purchased at the corner store at Third and McKinnon for $15 or $20. If parking is not available on Third
Street, we recommend trying around the corner
on McKinnon.
Bicycle parking: Currently there
are no bike racks on our block. Please bring your
bicycle inside, and you can park it in the back
of the office.
Taking public transportation?
- The T MUNI line stops a block from our office. MUNI bus lines 19, 23, 24, 44, 54, and 91 pass
within a few blocks of our office. For MUNI maps
